PFPC, a unit of PNC Financial Services, is opening an office in County Wexford, Ireland, a spokesperson told the MutualFundWire.com. This is the firm's second office in that country; the first is in Dublin.

"This is a full-service office providing everything from fund accounting to shareholder services to trustee and custody services," the official reported. The County Wexford office will work in tandem with the Dublin office.

The office opened today, and it is currently staffed with 80 employees. The firm hopes to bring that number up to 200 within two years.

The new location will support PFPC's business in non-U.S. domiciled funds.
