Pilgrim Baxter has named
Mike Thompson its vice president of institutional marketing. Thompson will focus on getting the firm's word out to large penion, endowment, public, and Taft-Hartley plans.
Thompson will report to
James Wylie, senior vice president of institutional marketing and client services. Prior to this move, the executve most recently served as a partner at
Attalus Capital, where he was in charge of institutional business development and client services.

Brian Bereznak, senior vice president at the firm. "Mike has nearly 20 years of experience in the institutional investment business, and his expertise covers a wide variety of types of products, investment styles, and the vast marketplace."
