DWS Investments Distributors has hired 13-year
Van Kampen Investments veteran
Bob Kendall as national sales manager. Chicago-based Kendall started at DWS last week and reports to DWS Investments Distributors CEO
Mike Woods, according to company spokesman Lem Brewster.
At DWS, Kendall is in charge of about 60 external and 50 internal wholesalers.
Previously, Kendall was national sales manager for wirehouses and the bank channel at Van Kampen, which is in the process of being purchased by Invesco as part of a broader deal.
Van Kampen spokesperson Matt Burkhard confirmed that Kendall left the firm in September.
"His responsibilities were assumed by other members of the Van Kampen sales force. He was not replaced," Burkhard said.
