John Hancock Funds has added Alan E. Norton and Henry E. Mehlman to its Relative Value Investment Team. The pair arrives from The Colony Group and will focus on small-cap and focused portfolios for Hancock. Norton will be the team leader. Mehlman will be a portfolio manager. The team manages four retail open-end mutual funds, one institutional mutual fund, one variable annuity sub-account, and many separate accounts, according to Hancock.
