A Year-Old Fund Servicer Hires a JPMorgan Alum

Reported by Armie Margaret Lee

Beacon Hill Fund Services brought on board JPMorgan alum Stephen Mintos as vice president of business development. Mintos is in charge of sales at the Columbus, Ohio-based company, which will turn a year old next month.

Mintos reports to Beacon Hill founder Scott Englehart, who, like Mintos, is an alum of Winsbury Company, which Bisys acquired in 1993.

The addition of Mintos, previously vice president at JPMorgan Worldwide Securities, brings the number of Beacon Hill employees to nine.

The company currently counts 11 clients, said Englehart in an interview with The MFWire. Beacon Hill provides distribution, chief compliance officer and chief financial officer services, as well as consulting to mutual funds, ETFs and hedge funds.

This year, the company plans to make its presence felt on the conference circuit. The firm will be an exhibitor at the NICSA Conference and Expo in Miami next month and the ICI General Membership Meeting in May.
