The rock-bottom fed-funds isn't good news for all. In the Wall Street Journal's "Fund Track" column, Daisy Maxey mentions that Vanguard is closing its Admiral Treasury Money Market Fund and Treasury Money Market Fund to new institutional investors, while keeping them open to current ones (to find out more, see our sister publication, The 401kWire, December 16, 2008).

In same column, Sam Mamudi reports on the new FTSE All-World ex-U.S. Small-Cap Index Fund that Vanguard last week revealed was on the way (see MFWire, December 11, 2008).
