Company Press Release

NEW YORK, Nov 14, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- WisdomTree (Pink Sheets: WSDT), an industry leading index developer and exchange-traded fund (ETF) sponsor, today announced the addition of Jarrett Lilien, former E*TRADE FINANCIAL Acting CEO, President and Chief Operating Officer, to the Company's Board of Directors.

"Jarrett's financial services experience, combined with his proven vision and effectiveness as a results-oriented leader, make him an important addition to the Board," said Jonathan Steinberg, WisdomTree CEO. "He will play a key role in helping us execute our long-term business plan."

"WisdomTree has built an impressive brand, stellar management team and strong investment track record as an ETF sponsor and asset manager," said Mr. Lilien. "I look forward to contributing my experience to an organization that has already achieved significant progress in a short time and is well positioned for continued growth and innovation in one of the fastest growing segments of the asset management industry."

Mr. Lilien joined E*TRADE FINANCIAL in August 1999 and became President and COO in March 2003.
