The U.S. Treasury advertised its search for asset managers for the Capital Purchase Program on its Web site Friday. The department is seeking firms to manage a portfolio of equity securities, debt and warrants.

Interested parties should submit their response by 5 p.m. ET on November 13.

The notice posted Friday is not for asset managers of troubled mortgage-related securities or mortgage loans.
