Company Press Release

October 6, 2008, Boston, MA – FUSE Research Network LLC has hired Sam Campbell to join its leadership team as Director of Research. Campbell has more than a decade of experience having most recently served as Director of Research at Financial Research Corporation.

“I am committed to seeing that FUSE has the top research team in the business” said Neil Bathon, founder of FUSE Research Network. “Sam is a critical hire for FUSE. He has a proven track record of delivering the highest quality analysis and insights to asset management firms.” Campbell will be responsible for building the analyst staff as well as developing and delivering FUSE research services. “I am excited about the opportunity at FUSE,” noted Campbell. “We are assembling a formidable team whose purpose is to produce the most compelling research available to asset managers.”

While with FRC, Campbell was viewed as a noted industry expert on matters relating to retail distribution of investment products and has produced research covering a wide range of topics including retirement, lifecycle funds, wholesaling, marketing, and product construction. Campbell’s superior commitment to client service is going to be a hallmark of the new FUSE organization.

Campbell spent five years at FRC, and in addition to serving as Director of Research, he also was a Senior Research Analyst. Prior to FRC, he worked for Partners HealthCare Systems as a financial/investment analyst and Evergreen in a marketing/communication role. “We have bold goals with FUSE,” said FUSE president Michael Evans. “We plan to produce research that provides our clients with the next generation of decision support. Even over the last few months, the challenges facing asset managers have changed dramatically yet most of traditional research firms have yet to evolve.”
