Cronin is Out at Putnam

Putnam Investments' head of investments has resigned. Kevin Cronin, 47, has resigned the post effective October 1, company spokeswoman Laura McNamara told The MFWire. McNamara said that Cronin's team will report directly to CEO Bob Reynolds while the investment leadership structure is finalized.
David Calabro, managing director and senior portfolio manager, will take on Cronin’s responsibility for Large Cap Equities on an interim basis.
Cronin held the position since 2005.
