WSJ Fund Track, Eleanor Laise reports on a new study done by PFPC which zeroes in on how new SEC regulations are taxing fund directors. Two-thirds of fund-board directors say their jobs are harder to do today than they were a few years ago, 44 percent say their responsibilities outweigh their compensation. The increased pressure coupled with more concerns over personal liability has caused a substantial number of fund directors to resign, the study found.
