SEI Investments will replace
Munder's World Asset Management unit as subadviser on the SEI S&P 500 Index Fund. The move was revealed in SEC filings. SEI officials were not available to comment on the story.
Barclays Global Investors will take over as the subadvisor of the $2.2 billion fund.
The change of subadvisors was made after a analysis of World Asset Management's investment process and performance, according to the filing.
The move was likely a reflection of the greater economies and scale brought to index management by BGI. That scale would also allow the fund to more closely match the benchmark index.
Munder is a unit of Comerica.
