M&I Names Investment Division Director

M&I Wealth Management has hired Bob Harless as director of its investment division. He reports to Ken Krei, CEO of M&I Wealth Management. Harless joins M&I Huntington National Bank, where he was managing director for corporate risk management services.


M&I Wealth Management has announced the appointment of Robert W. (Bob) Harless, as director of M&I's Investment Division. Harless is responsible for leading all facets of M&I's Investment Division which provides a full array of liquidity and fixed-income securities, interest-rate derivatives and risk management solutions, and foreign exchange products to corporations, correspondent banks, and other users of financial products. He reports to Ken Krei, CEO of M&I Wealth Management.

Harless joins M&I with over 20 years of industry experience in asset/liability management, fixed-income portfolio management, and corporate risk management strategies. Most recently, he served as managing director for corporate risk management services at Huntington National Bank in Columbus, Ohio. Previously, he held senior management positions with Banc One Capital Markets, Lotsoff Capital Management, and Transamerica Life Insurance Companies.

Harless is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he earned both a bachelors degree in economics as well as a masters degree in managerial economics. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
