Vanguard is offering two new equity index funds. The discount fund giant
announced Thursday the release of the
Vanguard Mid-Cap Value Index Fund and the
Vanguard Mid-Cap Growth Index Fund.
The Mid-Cap Value Index Fund tracks the MSCI US Mid Cap Value Index, while the Mid-Cap Growth Index Fund tracks the MSCI US Mid Cap Growth Index. Both of the funds require a minimum initial investment of $3,000 and have an expense ratio of 25 basis points. The ETF shares of the fund have expense ratios of 13 basis points.
Vanguard also announced filing for another new fund, the
Vanguard High Dividend Yield Index Fund. The company hopes to launch the fund in the fourth quarter.
