Bank of New York subsidiary Pershing has added to its no-transaction-fee mutual fund program, FundVest.

The WM Group of Funds from Washington Mutual joins over 1700 mutual funds, representing 150 companies, offered through FundVest, according to a press release. Julie Seitz, vice president at WM Shareholder Services, is confident the scale of the FundVest program will help WM Funds bolster distribution among "a wide array of investment professionals."
