Russell Investment Group has hired David Rothenberg as a director of business growth and development.

Rothenberg will strategize about growing Russell's implementation services group and provide guidance for business lines including portfolio transition, interim asset management, agency currency execution and overlay service. He will report to Bob Werner, managing director of Russell implementation services.

Previously, Rothenberg was U.S. head of equity sales, marketing and strategic business development at Nomura Securities International. He has also worked at Barclays Global Investors as global head of transition services and president of global head of transition services and president of Global Investors Service U.S.
