Harbor Capital Advisors has found a new executive vice president and chief investment officer in Brian L. Collins.

Collins comes to Harbor from Mercer Investment Consulting, where he was director of U.S. investment manager research.

Collins will be located in Chicago. He will be responsible for researching and recommending prospective investment managers and for analysis of current managers and investment performance.

Harbor Capital Advisors manages approximately $19 billion in assets for DB plans and the Harbor Fund family of mutual funds.
