Transamerica Investment Management (TIM) has tapped Eric T. Wagner as its new vice president for Business Administration. Wagner will take senior leadership for the Business Administration Services at the Dayton, Ohio-based investment management unit.
The Business Administration Services unit encompasses client services, back office operations, and technology.
John C. Riazzi, TIM's chief executive officer, said that Wagner will play a "key role in orchestrating the operational aspects of our business and ensuring that TIM runs productively."
Wagner joins the firm from outside of the fund industry. He most recently spent three years consulting, mentoring, and serving on technology company boards in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to that he was a senior vice president of Concentrex Corporation of Portland, Oregon. He was president of Culverin Corporation in Dayton for 17 years.
