A familiar face within the ETF space has
joined a Texas bank as of late February.

At the end of February, former
TorreBlanc independent consultant
Ed Rosenberg joined
Texas Capital Bank (TCB) as managing director in the securities wing. Rosenberg is based in the greater Chicago area, while TCB is based in Dallas, Texas.
In the ETF space, Rosenberg was most recently with American Century Investments as senior vice president and head of ETFs. He
left American Century late last year and served in his independent consulting role before joining TCB.
Rosenberg writes to
MFWire, "I am responsible for working directly with Texas Capital Bank's Investment Banking and Private Wealth teams to lead the institution's funds management strategy. Ultimately, I am excited that I've joined an institution that focuses on putting the client first and creating a culture that empowers its employees to succeed."
Rosenberg confirms that he has not replaced anyone; this is a new role for TCB.
"I am really looking forward to helping Texas Capital create a funds management strategy that allows us to expand our product and service offerings to meet the needs of our clients," the new managing director adds.
He writes, "I look forward to working with my new partners at Texas Capital as we define and announce further details underpinning the funds management strategy later this year."
Rosenberg
joined American Century in 2017. Prior to that, he was with Northern Trust for four and a half years as senior vice president and head of ETF capital markets and analytics. From 2010 to 2012, he was director and head of ETF capital markets and analytics for Russell Investments. For just shy of fifteen years before that, Rosenberg was with Vanguard in a variety of brokerage, analytics, and ETF roles. He is an alumnus of Muhlenberg College and Penn State University.
