At a recent virtual event,
Abby Johnson, CEO of
Fidelity Investements [
profile], revealed that 12,000 out of the Boston Behemoth's 52,000 employees (i.e. 23 percent) have volunteered to work in-person at least part-time, the
Boston Globe reports. As for a return-to-office timetable, that's still TBD, according to Johnson, though she reiterated the value of having teams together in-person.
"We're really trying to understand and observe," Johnson reportedly said at the virtual event, part of Boston Fintech Week. "Our core planning teams are working on this, developing a sense of what's the kind of work that best happens on site, and what's the kind of work that's very well done at home."
