Shannon Hobbs has anointed a pair of new senior leaders in
American Century's [
profile] HR team.
Yesterday, Hobbs, chief human resources officer,
confirmed that she has
tapped Deidre Boulware and
Diane Gallagher (nee Harvey) for key roles. Washington, D.C.-based Boulware will join American Century on May 24 as vice president and head of talent, development, and diversity, while yesterday Gallagher rose to VP and head of employee experience. Both Gallagher and Boulware now report to Hobbs.
Boulware is new to the fund firm and most recently served as VP of global human resources and diversity, inclusion, belonging at US Pharmaocpeia. Gallagher, meanwhile, already hails from American Century; she most recently served as VP of client marketing and value-add.
Hobbs puts the appointments in the context of maintaining and enhancing American Century's corporate culture. She lauds Boulware's "proven expertise in people and diversity strategy implementation, developing metrics-driven equity and accountability platforms, change management, organizational design, talent and succession management and leadership development. And Hobbs highlights Gallagher's "significant experience with clients" and "current and past community involvement."
Prior to joining Us Pharmacopeia last year, Boulware served in HR leadership roles at Willis Towers Watson, Capital One, SunTrust, Ally, and Wachovia Securities. She is an alumna of the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and of Hampton University.
Gallagher has spent more than 25 years with American Century and J.P. Morgan (once upon a time, American Century and J.P. Morgan combined their retirement plan businesses) in a variety of roles, mostly tied in to retirement. Earlier, she worked for MFEA and Sinai Health System. She is an alumna of University of Detroit Mercy.
