Eduardo Repetto and his team recently celebrated a big milestone.

Avantis Investors, the boutique which Repetto joined American Century [profile] less than two years ago to help start, recently crossed $5 billion in AUM. Repetto, who serves as Avantis' chief investment officer, posts that the milestone is "an indication of the number of people who share [Avantis'] view that low-fee, state of the art investment solutions can help people achieve their financial goals."

"We chose the name Avantis in the spirit of constantly moving forward and pushing ahead," Repetto writes. "I believe this is just the beginning."
