A mutual fund ops executive at a wirehouse recently left the big B-D and took a post with a consulting firm.

Bill Davis, vice president of mutual fund operations at St, Louis, Missouri-based
Wells Fargo Advisors,
left last month and
rejoined Oyster Consulting as director on its strategic planning and execution team.
Davis did not immediately return a call for comment.
Buddy Doyle, founding principal, CEO, and managing director of Oyster, did not immediately return a call for comment. A spokesperson from Wells Fargo did not immediately return a call for comment.
An Alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University, Davis served at Wells Fargo Advisors for nearly four years most recently as VP of mutual fund operations for almost three years, and as principal of a consulting firm for almost four. Prior, David served as vice president at Folio Investing for three years. Before that, he was an associate director for Oyster Consulting. His career began at Wachovia Securities, where he served for more than 14 years, as managing director of packaged products and SVP.
