Yesterday was the 10-year anniversary of BlackRock acquiring Barclays Global Investors (BGI, which included iShares). BGI alumni in San Francisco are marking the occasion by meeting up this Thursday evening at DADA Bar.

Today the Bloomberg team is kicking off their second annual Global Responsible Investing Forum. The two-day event is being held at Bloomberg's headquarters in New York City, and speakers expected to appear include outgoing Nuveen CEO Vijay Advani and incoming CEO Jose Minaya.

Also today, Nick Good takes over as CEO of J O Hambro Capital Management's (JOHCM's) U.S. business.

Tomorrow morning the team at BMO (the parent of BMO Global Asset Management, i.e. BMO GAM) will release their fiscal Q4 earnings and host an earnings call, both before markets open.

Also tomorrow, the Investment Company Institute (ICI) team will host their 2019 Securities Law Developments Conference (2019 SECLAW). The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C.

Also tomorrow, the Fixed Income Analysts Society, Inc. (FIASI) team will host a breakfast networking event at the Comfort Diner in New York City.

On Wednesday, the Opal Group team will kick off their Alternative Investing Summit 2019. The three-day event is being held at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, California.

Also on Wednesday, the InvestmentNews team will kick off their ESG & Impact Forum. The two-day event will be held in New York City at the Helen Mills Theater and the United Nations Delegates Dining Room.

Also on Wednesday, the team at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC, parent of RBC Global Asset Management, i.e. RBC GAM), will release their fiscal Q4 2019 earnings and host an earnings call, both before the markets open in the morning.

Also on Wednesday, the Natixis team will host their annual media luncheon in New York City. The event, titled "Natixis 2020 Outlook Exchange: A Multi-Asset Perspective," will be held at Daniel and will feature remarks from: David Goodsell, senior vice president and executive director at Natixis Investment Managers' Center for Investor Insight; Marina Gross, executive vice president and PM at Natixis IM; David Lafferty, SVP and chief market strategist at Natixis IM; Elaine Stokes, EVP, PM, and co-head of full discretion fixed income at Loomis Sayles; and Gina Szymanski, director and PM for real estate securities at AEW Capital Managemnet.

On Thursday evening, the FIASI team will host their holiday party and networking event at Faces & Names in New York City. The event will feature James Bianco, president of Bianco Research.
