A storm has blown a mutual fund industry charity golf tournament all the way into August.

Frank Heavey, executive director of the
Expect Miracles Foundation ("Financial Services Against Cancer"),
confirms that the foundation's 25th anniversary
East Coast Classic has been
rescheduled for Thursday, August 1. The already sold-out tournament was
initially scheduled to take place tomorrow.
"Horrible rain" is expected tomorrow, Heavey tells
MFWire. Indeed, the folks at
Weather.com currently predict that there is a 100 percent chain of rain tomorrow in Plymouth, Massachusetts, with "locally heavy rainfall possible" and winds of 15 to 25 mph expected.
"We made a decision to postpone the tournament," Heavey says. "You can't control the weather, and we appreciate everybody's support and understanding."
The delayed event will still be held at the Pinehills Golf Course in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
"Everything's exactly the same, same place, same time," Heavey says.
