Europeans Get Own Diamonds

The Amex's Diamonds Trust Series 1 exchange-traded fund will begin trading in Europe on Friday, according to an SEC filing. The Diamonds ETF is based on the Dow Jones Industrials Average and sponsored by the American Stock Exchange.

European regulators gave the thumbs up to the ETF's listing on Amsterdam's Euronext exchange in the Netherlands on September 9.
