On Wednesday Burt White, managing director of investor and investment solutions and chief investment officer at LPL, confirmed that Lynch recently joined the broker-dealer as executive vice president and chief investment strategist and head of the 12-analyst LPL Investment Research team. He most recently served as senior vice president and chief investment officer, Mid-Atlantic at Wells Fargo Private Bank.

Hired: Matthew Alfieri and Tom Davis

On Tuesday Eric Byunn, partner and co-founder of Centana, confirmed the hiring of Davis and Alfieri as principal and vice president, respectively. Before joining the financial-services-focused, New York- and San Francisco-based private equity firm, Alfieri worked at Goldman Sachs and Davis worked at General Atlantic.

On Tuesday Michael Franzino, president of global financial services at Korn Ferry, confirmed the hiring of Astmann as co-head of global asset management, based in the recruiting firm's New York office. He previously served as partner and head of the asset management practice in North America for Heidrick & Struggles.

On Tuesday Taylor Lukof, founder and CEO of ABR Dynamic Funds, confirmed that Brown recently joined the New York-based fund firm's advisory board. Brown recently retired as fixed income strategist at Lord Abbett.
