Top brass at Dallas, Texas-based
Highland Capital Management [

Highland co-founder and chief investment officer
Mark Okada and his team, including managing director
Chris Mawn, hosted a closing bell ringing ceremony at the
Nasdaq's Times Square studio in New York City. Business networks like
Bloomberg,
CNBC and
Fox Business picked up a glimpse of the celebration at the close when Okada himself pressed the closing bell button and signed his name while surrounded by cheering Highland executives and allies.
The event comes shortly after the $456.58-million
Highland/iBoxx Senior Loan ETF switched its primary listing to Nasdaq from the
NYSE Arca on September 28.
The ETF, which is PMed by Mawn, kept its SNLN ticker through the move, and Highland confirms that its other ETFs on the NYSE Arca will stay there.
After the bell ringing, the Highland crowd moved around the corner to Aureole for cocktails and hors d'ouevres.
