This afternoon Invesco CEO
Martin Flanagan and other top executives at the Atlanta-based, publicly-traded multinational asset manager will kick off the two-day
Invesco Investment Symposium at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. Financial advisors and home office staff from broker-dealers and RIAs will be able to hear from a host of PMs at Invesco.
Yet PMs won't be the only ones speaking at the Invesco summit. Other executives on the agenda include: Flanagan himself;
Dan Draper, managing director of Invesco's
PowerShares [
profile] ETF business;
Peter Gallagher, head of U.S. retail sales;
John Greenwood, chief economist;
Colin Meadows, senior managing director and chief administrative officer;
Phil Taylor, senior managing director and head of the Americas; and
Brian Thorp, head of U.S. retail business development. And the keynote speaker at dinner tonight will be
Dana Perino, co-host of
Fox News' "The Five" and former White House Press Secretary.
Meanwhile, this evening in Newport, Kentucky, outside Ultimus' hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, the mutual fund back-office provider will kick off its three-day, fifth annual
Ultimus Client Summit with a welcome reception at New Riff Distilling. Sessions begin tomorrow at the Cincinnati Marriott RiverCenter in Covington, Kentucky. And there will be a networking reception and dinner along the river tomorrow night at Carol Ann's Carousel and Anderson Pavilion in downtown Cincinnati.
The Ultimus team expects about 175 fundsters to attend the summit.
