About 2,000 fundsters, FAs, and others gathered in Chicago this week for the the 28th annual Morningstar Investment Conference at McCormick Place in Chicago.

For next year, the Morningstar folks are shifting their conference forward into the middle of the spring, to April 26-28.

Here's a glimpse at what went down at the 2016 conference.
