Callahan Brings an Allianz Distro Vet to Oak Ridge

Reported by Neil Anderson, Managing Editor

Connecticut-based Todd Campo joined the Chicago-based asset manager last month as senior vice president and head of strategic business development. He most recently served as director and head of private bank and RIA sales at Allianz.

Phil Callahan, head of distribution and marketing at Oak Ridge, confirms that he and Campo will divide up the country when it comes to Oak Ridge's relationships with broker-dealers, insurance companies, retirement plan providers, and RIAs. Callahan, in addition to his other duties, will handle the central and western parts of the U.S., while Campo will handle the east.

"We want to branch out into private banks, too," Callahan tells MFWire. "He'll be a great leader for us."

Watch for Callahan and his team to push into subadvisory distribution, too. It's all part of a firm-wide, long-term strategy of diversification, Callahan says: diversifying their product lineup, their assets, their revenues, and their distribution channels.
