Neuberger Berman's [profile] efforts are in new hands.

A spokesman for the New York City-based mutual fund shop confirms that Celine Dufetel, who joined Neuberger less than a year ago as head of client services, has added another role, global head of marketing. Yet Dufetel will continue to lead client service, too. The spokesman also confirmed that Neil Siegel, Neuberger's global head of marketing and product, is leaving the company.

The Neuberger spokesman declined to comment further on the change.

An alumnus of Ecol polytechnique and Princeton, Dufetel spent more than a decade at McKinsey & Company. She most recently served as partner in the financial services practice and leader of the North American asset management practice.

Siegel, an alumnus of Fordham and UMass Amherst, worked at Morgan Stanley before joining Lehman Brothers (which owned Neuberger) 11 years ago.
