After ten years, SOLD!

The Bahrain-based Investmentcorp, which also has offices in New York and London, has found a buyer for SourceMedia, ten years after first buying the media property from the Thomson Corporation.

SourceMedia, based at One State Street Plaza, owns Money Management Executive, American Banker, Bond Buyer, Financial Planning, and On Wall Street, among other publications.

The buyer of the media property is Observer Capital, an investment firm founded in 2013 by Joseph Meyer, chief executive officer of Observer Media Group, owner of The New York Observer.

Before joining Observer Media, Meyer worked as an analyst at Elliott Associates, and worked at MSD Capital.

His brother-in-law is Jared Kushner, the owner of Observer Media Group.
