The Boston Behemoth has lured back a veteran RIA business development and relationship management specialist from Pershing.

Tom Valverde, previously managing director and head of business development and relationship management at Pershing Advisor Solutions, is now a senior vice president for sales and relationship management at Fidelity.

Valverde ran both the biz development and relationship management teams for Pershing Advisor Solutions, developing and implementing strategies for growing marketshare in the RIA space and recruiting advisors in transition, among other things.

He was also a member of the company's executive committee.

Before that, he had worked for Fido for 14-years, as a vice president for institutional sales.
