A veteran media relations fundster just filled a brand new spot at Invesco.

Graham Galt, head of corporate communications at the mutual fund shop, confirms that Jeaneen Terrio-Pisarra is joining Invesco this month in the newly-created position of U.S. head of media relations and internal communications, reporting to Galt. Spokespeople Bill Hensel (based in Atlanta) and David Bachert (in Houston) will report to Terrio-Pisarra (based in New York).

"We couldn't be more pleased," Galt tells MFWire. "She's got a tremendous bit of experience."

An alum of Scudder Kemper and OppenheimerFunds, Terrio-Pisarra most recently served as director of intermediary communications at Guggenheim Partners.

Terrio-Pisarra praises Invesco as "a leader in alternatives, fixed income and the ETF space."
