AMG now has a chief executive for its U.S. retail distribution business.
Jeffrey Cerutti, has just been named chief executive officer of
AMG Funds, which is the new name of AMG's retail business, formerly known as “Managers Investment Group.”
According to a company statement, Cerutti will be "responsible for evolving and executing the Company’s strategy for its U.S. retail distribution business, AMG Funds."
It is a newly-created position.
Cerutti previously served as executive vice president, head of distribution, for
Virtus Investment Partners, where he was responsible for the distribution of all investment products across all channels and platforms. Before that, Cerutti served as managing director, head of national sales at UBS Global Asset Management, where he led the distribution efforts of UBS mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative investments within various retail channels.
He will be based in Norwalk, Conn., and report to
Andrew Dyson, AMG's Executive Vice President and Head of Global Distribution.

I know he will be an excellent addition to our senior team.”
