JP Morgan has hired an ETF specialist to serve as an executive director at the firm.

The fund giant has hired Adam Gebler, who previously served as director of channel development for MyVest, and before that was a consultant at Mosaic Research Management. He had also served as a consultant with IndexUniverse.

Before these jobs, he had served as a director of the iShares product and investment consulting group and also as principal of the same group when it had been with Barclays previously.

He had also served as a principal, head of sales strategy for Europe iShares and principal, sales strategist for U.S. iShares, among other roles.
