Everybody likes a good stoop sale. The bargains. The socializing. The funny '70's leisure wear.
Nomura's ongoing pullout from the U.S. could translate into a stoop sale for the right savvy acquirer.
The Japanese asset manager
reported via an SEC filing in October that it was planning to leave the U.S.
Now, the firm plans to liquidate at least three of its five funds, according to
an SEC filing. The funds in question are the
Asia Pacific Ex Japan Fund, the
Global Emerging Markets Fund, and the
Global Equity Income Fund.
However, what's interesting is that the filing says nothing about the fate of the two other funds Nomura markets: the
Japan Fund and the
High Yield Fund.
