Jack Cunningham, former chief investment officer of
J.W. Seligman died recently at the age of 49, according to
Bloomberg. According to the newswire, Cunningham retired from his role at J.W. Seligman in 2008 after the firm's acquisition by
Ameriprise Financial (owner of
Columbia Management). The newswire also notes that, in his role as CIO, Cunningham had also managed the
Seligman Common Stock Fund and the
Seligman Income and Growth Fund.
