Jeffrey Gundlach, head of DoubleLine Capital [profile], is now making his flagship mutual fund's strategy available in another investment product form: a variable annuity.

Today DoubleLine revealed the launch of the Curian/DoubleLine Total Return Fund, offered by Jackson National Life Insurance Company. The variable annuity will be co-managed by Gundlach and DoubleLine president Phillip Barach.
