Bridge Builder Bond fund but, despite a good management team, investors could already get bond funds run by those managers, Jaffe points out.
This is just a "first step" for Edward Jones, as the new fund joins the hundreds on Edward Jones Advisory Solutions investment platform. Though the giant may eventually launch a greater fund line-up, no one knows for sure, Jaffe says.
So what is Jones' angle? The new fund gives them "top-flight" managers, Jaffe writes. Having control over the portfolio by diversifying managers within the fund gives Jones better ease of management and is most likely the fund's "selling point," Jaffe writes.
