The SEC could be looking to make starting certain types of ETFs easier to start, according to a
Bloomberg report.
This news was originally covered by
Reuters and MFWire in April.
The new article doesn't contain a ton of new information, but it does have an interview with SEC investment management chief
Norm Champ, who says that it takes the equivalent of 10 full time staffers to look at applications for "plain-vanilla" ETFs.
