Paul Griffiths, global co-head for fixed income at
Aberdeen [
profile] is leaving the firm, according to a variety of news outlets.
According to
Pensions & Investments,
FT Adviser,
InvestmentWeek, and
Citywire.co.uk, Griffiths had been with Aberdeen for three years, coming on board when the firm acquired the traditional money management business of
Credit Suisse.
P&I notes that he was responsible for $68 billion in fixed income and money market assets.
Griffith's fellow co-head of fixed income,
Brad Crombie, will assume full responsibility of the unit.
Crombie had joined the firm in October 2012.
P&I reports that Griffith has joined another firm and that an announcement related to that hiring could come as soon as this week.
