Aberdeen Says Goodbye to a Unit Chief

Paul Griffiths, global co-head for fixed income at Aberdeen [profile] is leaving the firm, according to a variety of news outlets.

According to Pensions & Investments, FT Adviser, InvestmentWeek, and Citywire.co.uk, Griffiths had been with Aberdeen for three years, coming on board when the firm acquired the traditional money management business of Credit Suisse.

P&I notes that he was responsible for $68 billion in fixed income and money market assets.

Griffith's fellow co-head of fixed income, Brad Crombie, will assume full responsibility of the unit.

Crombie had joined the firm in October 2012.

P&I reports that Griffith has joined another firm and that an announcement related to that hiring could come as soon as this week.
