Eaton Vance is assessing its marketing needs in the wake of the November departure of chief marketing officer
Paul Nobile.
According to Eaton Vance spokesperson Robyn Tice, Nobile had resigned in November.
As CMO, Nobile was responsible for the marketing of all of Eaton's businesses, including retail and institutional as well as media relations, brand marketing and website development.
Tice says that Eaton has not eliminated the position, but that before they can look into a new hire, "we are right now in the process of assessing our marketing needs and determine what changes we need to make going forward."
Previously, Eaton had lost head of U.S. retail and offshore sales
Jac McLean in
in May, 2012. McLean was hired as head of distribution by The Hartford in January.
LPL veteran
John Moninger was
hired as Eaton's new head of retail sales in October.
