David Eager has departed Chicago-based
Driehaus Capital Management. Eager had joined the firm last fall after leaving Watson Wyatt where he was a consultant focused on the pension market.
Eager had joined Driehaus to head the firm's product development efforts. He will not be replaced at Driehaus.
"We had made some structural changes and decided to close the Louisville office," explained a spokesperson for the firm. "Dave decided that he did not want to relocate to Chicago."
The former consultant is returning to his roots and has partnered with
Glenn B. Davis to open a consulting shop in Louisville, Kentucky. Earlier in his career Eager was the principal of Eager & Associates in Louisville. He sold the consulting shop to Watson Wyatt in 1999.
