An Asset Manager Bolsters Its Institutional Team

Reported by Tommy Fernandez

The hiring spree at Pioneer Investments [profile] continues.

This time around, the firm has bolstered its institutional group with two senior hires. First, Pioneer hired Mark Dacey away from State Street Global Advisors [profile] to serve as head of U.S. Consultant Relations. The firm also hired Amy DiMarzio away from Putnam Investments [profile] to serve as a fixed income investment strategist.

The move is only the latest in Pioneer's growth efforts. It recently hired a PM, searched for a regional vice president in November, launched an advisor education program that same month, and expanded its RIA sales staff in August.
