INTECH has made some changes at the top.
The
Janus Capital Group subsidiary has promoted CIO
Adrian Banner to chief executive officer, after former CEO
Jennifer Young stepped down from the role.
Young will remain with INTECH as a consultant for up to two years, according to a Janus spokeswoman. Young was
promoted from president to co-CEO, alongside
Robert Garvy, in 2008, and named sole CEO in January 2012, according to the spokeswoman.
Banner has been with INTECH since 2003, and in 2008 he was
named co-CIO, sharing the title with
Robert Fernholz, and was named sole CIO in January of this year. He will continue to be the sole chief investment officer as well as CEO, according to the statement.
Along with this move, INTECH has shuffled other executives to new roles.
Justin Wright has added the title of chief administrative officer to his current role of general counsel and now he oversees all non-investment operations at the firm. head of global client development
John Brown will manage client and consultant relations.
David Schofield will continue in his role of president of INTECH's international operations and
Lance Campbell will remainin his role as CFO.
INTECH is an independently managed Janus subsidiary headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida, specializing in quantitate strategies, with approximately $41.9 billion under management.
