Virtus Investment Partners
saw a nice bump in AUM in the third quarter. The Hartford, Connecticut-based fund shop added about $1.6 billion in the past three months, an increase from the roughly $1.2 billion of inflows
it saw in the previous quarter, according to a press release
This brings Virtus' total AUM to over $23 billion. The third quarter didn't provide quite the record-breaking AUM push
the publicly traded multi-manager shop made in the first quarter, but it's not far off.
This past summer, Virtus also expanded
its fund lineup, and last month it bought Rampart Investment Management
, an RIA based in Boston.
