Virtus Investment Partners saw a nice bump in AUM in the third quarter. The Hartford, Connecticut-based fund shop added about $1.6 billion in the past three months, an increase from the roughly
$1.2 billion of inflows it saw in the previous quarter, according to a
press release.
This brings Virtus' total AUM to over $23 billion. The third quarter didn't provide quite the
record-breaking AUM push the publicly traded multi-manager shop made in the first quarter, but it's not far off.
This past summer, Virtus also
expanded its fund lineup, and last month it
bought Rampart Investment Management, an RIA based in Boston.
